Hello Lee Summit and welcome back to the Red Kingdom Cleaning podcast. We’re so glad that you joined us today to talk about Lee Summit Home Cleaning Service. On the last podcast we talked about what does it look like to have your house cleaned.
So feel free to look back at that one if you’re like me and I’m thinking about how my house cleaned. What does that look like? Just look back at the last podcast. We’d be happy to answer any of your questions as well if you reach out to us at info at redkingdomcleaning.com or call or text us at 816-623-1497.
We’d be happy to answer any of your questions as well. So we’re going to continue going through our questions. Number 10 question, what cleaning products do professionals use? Now we use in the bathroom usually Mr. Clean.
So we like Mr. Clean. It always smells really fresh afterwards. It’s not harsh.
You can use it on anything in the bathroom. Outside of that we typically use Thieves. So Thieves is a young living product.
We like more of that natural product. You can use it on any surface. It’s not going to leave any residue.
Make sure it’s clean and sanitized and you can use it for dusting. We use it for counters. It’s a very natural product.
It also smells really nice. When you come home, our goal is to make sure that your home is clean, but also that it feels and it smells really clean. That’s something we receive from a lot of our clients.
They say, wow when I come home my house just feels and it smells really clean. So that’s really important to us. Number 11, what is included in a deep cleaning checklist? So whenever we do the quote, whenever we come out, I go through and make a list of all the things in your house that we would be cleaning.
It’s pretty standard across house to house, but if there’s something that’s particular to you, if there’s any particular notes, it’s also included in the checklist. Like if you’re like this certain picture is pretty loose, be careful when you’re dusting it, or these are my dog names, or I only want these rooms cleaned every other time, or there’s just certain things like that that we include on the checklist making sure that no matter who is coming into your house, they know exactly what to do. If it is the same cleaners every time, if there’s a new person, anything like that, they always know exactly how to do your house and it stays consistent every single time.
For the deep clean, we then take that checklist that’s normal for the maintenance clean and we have a few of the things that we add to it. We add door frames, trims, inside the oven, inside the fridge, all those things are added onto a normal checklist that’s included in a deep clean. We are very thorough with our deep cleans, making sure that your home literally feels brand new by the time that we leave.
Number 12, how often should you deep clean your home? Now that all just depends on you. Some people want their house deep cleaned every six months, some people just want it just the first time, because obviously we maintain it and we take care of it when we come, but there’s still certain things that we don’t touch. We don’t touch the inside of your fridge, we don’t touch the inside of your oven, we don’t do door frames and trim on a regular basis.
So whenever we come out and do those deep cleans, we’re extremely thorough, but a maintenance clean covers the main areas of your home. So if that’s something you’re like, hey I like this every six months, we can schedule those and have it done as often as you’d like. It would be if you maintain your home really well with our maintenance clean.
So if we do that on a regular basis, the deep clean is not as difficult just because your home has already been maintained for an extended period of time. So you have less things built up over time, but obviously you still have life. So if we’re cleaning the inside of your fridge, there might be spills, things like that, that we take care of whenever we come.
Number 13, what does a move-in move-out cleaning include? Now move-in move-out clean is whenever obviously somebody’s moving out of a home. So all the furniture is gone, all the pictures are off the walls, it’s literally just the bare bones of the house in between somebody moving in and moving out. So we clean every surface of the house, making sure that it is fresh and ready for the next people to live there.
We go through, we do the oven, we do the fridge, just like you do in a deep clean. We do all the baseboards, trims. The difference is though, that when we do it in a move-in move-out, there’s no furniture in the house.
So we have more access to all the surfaces of the house, making it easier to clean. Number 14, how do you clean baseboards and make them look new? Now baseboards, if somebody’s house is fairly dirty, it takes getting on our hands and knees and scrubbing them. Some people, it’s more of a general dusting, so it kind of depends on the house.
But typically, I would say we’re on our hands and our knees. We have a bucket and we use Tide, like the laundry soap Tide, to do floors. It’s safe on the floors, make sure they’re sparkly and shiny and it’s safe on all woods.
So we use a bucket and we literally just go along the floor with that bucket and a microfiber towel and we scrub the baseboards. If somebody’s got more dirty ones than that, then we use more of a scrubber and scrub along the baseboards as well. So we make sure they look brand new by the time that we are done.
Number 15, what’s the best way to clean the shower with hard water stains? Now, it all just depends on what kind of hard water. You can use a steel wool, that’s 0-0-0-0. You can also use alcohol mixed with water.
You can also use, I think it’s baking soda and vinegar. Those are all things that can help take out hard water. That is a tricky thing and do the hard water stains is something that can take our team 30 minutes to an hour just on the glass itself, making sure it’s clean.
And that’s something that we do the first time and then we maintain it over time, which is what’s really great about having your house clean on the regular, is we maintain the cleanliness of the home going forward, making sure that that doesn’t build up as much as it did the first time. Number 16, how do professionals clean kitchens thoroughly? Now, we always clean top to bottom, that way if things kind of fall as you’re cleaning, you won’t start the floors. You start up top, kind of work your way down throughout the kitchen.
We do the counters, we do this, the sink is always the last thing we do in the house because we’re still mopping and that’s what we use. Typically down to the toilet, I mean then we thoroughly clean it after. If we’re doing a fridge, we take everything out of the fridge, we clean that thoroughly.
17, what’s included in a bathroom deep clean? On a deep clean, again, we do the baseboard, the trim, and that’s kind of the main difference in the bathroom. But also, we spend a lot more time getting out hard water stains, stains in the shower, things like that. We spend a lot of time trying to get those things out that we typically would not do on a maintenance clean.
So we’re in there, we’re scrubbing, we’re cleaning, we’re using more tools, and we typically do a lot of different products that we do that are a little bit more potent but also take more time to do. We also then clean the rest of your bathroom. So we make sure your toilet looks brand new, floors, shower glass, sinks, mirror, all those things.
We are very thorough. The baseboard, the trim, everything looks better than new by the time that we are done cleaning your bathroom. How do you, number 18, how do you clean the inside of appliances like ovens and refrigerators? So first, refrigerators, we take everything out depending on if there’s anything sticky in it.
Sometimes it’s more of just a wipe down of it. Sometimes it’s more put it in the sink and scrub it, let it dry, and then put it back in. So it all just depends on what the, what it looks like.
But usually that’s kind of the majority of our time is spent cleaning is on those refrigerators ovens. Now in the oven, we use tangerine clean and we scrub and scrub and scrub and scrub and scrub and scrub the inside of your oven. That way there’s no more buildup, anything like that, in your oven.
So it looks brand new. Now if you’re wanting to get a hold of us for a Leigh Summit house cleaning service or a deep clean, we’d be happy to answer any questions you may have about it.
